Succulents

When scrolling thru Pinterest or Tumblr I always come across pictures of succulent plants. I love, love, love the look of these plants, they give such a fresh, clean vibe! I have recently decided that I wanted to re-decorate/organize my room and thought these plants would be a perfect addition to add.
Today my friend and I went to a local greenhouse and the conservatory. I only bought a couple plants because I have no money right now, haha, but I will definitely be adding to my growing collection!
Here are pictures of my plants and ones I took at the conservatory, Enjoy!

2015

Not even 24 hours ago was it 2014. A year that held many amazing memories, new experience, and new people. 2014 was the year that I really found myself and what I like. I made a great group of friends and made some incredible memories with them. There were many ups and downs throughout the year but I don't regret anything…
This year is a clean slate. A new year to make mistakes, find ourselves all over, and make memories. I hope this year will be as great as last, but better!

Advent Calendars

Every year me and my sister get advent calendars, whether it is ones with little chocolates from Trader Joes or a Starbucks one we always seem to have super cute ones! This year my mom got us the starbucks one and a online one from Jacquie Lawson.
The starbucks one came with a chalkboard with tins that were magnetic on it. Each tin had a date and inside was a little cookie and as a surprise one day you would get a mini starbucks card worth $5!
Jacquie lawson makes the cutest e-cards and invites. Her advent calendar was precious. Every day you would click on the date and a little animated video would pop up. You could also play games on the calendar like solve puzzles, decorate christmas trees, and read stories about christmas!

Music Monday: The Vaccines

Recently I have been on the lookout for some unique, new music. I came across this band called The Vaccines and I am OBSESSED! They have a upbeat, indie, punk rock sound. They are like a mix between the Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, and The Ramones.
My favorite song by them is Wetsuit and Teenage Icon. I definitely recommend checking them out if your looking for a cool new band!

Heres a link to their spotifiy playlist: https://open.spotify.com/artist/0Ak6DLKHtpR6TEEnmcorKA

Tbt: Bunbury

Hi guys!
As I was looking through all my old photos I came across these ones from Bunbury, a music festival I went to last summer. I thought that you all would like to hear about my amazing experience so Im throwing it back on this fine thursday evening!
The festival is three days long and is held along the river in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Day 1: The first day we got to explore the place. We checked out all the stages, there were many, and got to even meet some bands! The tickets we bought were the vip tickets which let us have our own air conditioned tent and we got the chance to see many of the bands do an exclusive acoustic set inside of the tent.

Royal Teeth
X Ambassadors
 Fitz and the Tantrums

Day 2: On the second day at the festival we didn't explore much but sat out in the heat to get front and center for the main acts that night, Paramore and Fall Out Boy, which was definitely worth waiting for. Many bands preformed on the main stage before them which was nice because we got to discover awesome new bands while waiting.

Jeremy and Haley from Paramore

Day 3: On the last day I met up with some friends and we wandered around the area. It rained most of the day so some of the bands were held off until the storm stopped, but we made the best of it!
Best lemonade everrrrrr

People were doing face paint everywhere!
Till next year…

Hope you guys enjoyed my spam of festival pictures for this throwback thursday. It was such a fun weekend and I discovered some amazing new bands. I hope this makes you want to find a music festival near you or even come check out Bunbury in Ohio!
